Administrator’s Council Report

Connie Ziccarelli

By Connie Ziccarelli, COO

This past year the Administrator Council has seen tremendous growth and with excitement, we celebrated our 5th year of offering the Administrator Certificate at Annual Conference. With the enhancement of highlighting Advanced Programming for past Certificate graduates, we received excellent feedback from Admin members. We see this moving forward into this year’s Annual Conference and beyond.

I want to thank the Council liaisons to the PPS committees of; Annual Conference Work Group; Brenda Grumley, Government Affairs; Scott Spradling, Impact Editorial Board; Kim Stamp, Marketing & PR; Scott Wick, and Payment Policy; Jim Hall. Their dedication and input enriches the entire membership of PPS. We especially want to thank Amy Synder, MPT,DPT, our Board Liaison for the wisdom and guidance to steer our Council to align with the PPS Board’s objectives. And a Shout out to Mariesa Bergin in the PPS office our staff liaison for keeping us on track.

The Administrator’s Council is excited to continue the offering of free web-events as one of the many benefits of being an Admin Council member. We have seen a great response to these events and look forward to more web events this year focusing on current and relevant topics for the growth of Private Practice Administrators. Our quarterly newsletter informing the membership of ongoing work in the section is just another benefit with a membership to the Admin. Council.

We are excited to be a part of the new PPS Website; if you have not checked it out yet, I encourage you to “stop” by and see the new look.

If you are not a member of the Administrator’s Council, I encourage you to join us. If you would like to know more information I would welcome you to reach out to me or any of the PPS staff members.
