Dear PPS Members,

In the May edition of Impact, I hoped COVID-19 was behind us and your schedules were full. As I write this letter to you, May is here and it is my new hope that in July you are now open and providing the much-needed expertise to the needs of your clientele. Reality of life as a practice owner is different than it was a few short months ago.

When the pandemic began, the Annual Conference Program Work Group (ACPWG) and your Board of Directors were finalizing the programing and keynote speakers for the 2020 Annual Conference at National Harbor in Washington, DC. The ACPWG quickly pivoted and has now reserved program slots to provide you with relevant education surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We are optimistic that this year’s Annual Conference will be in-person and for those that can attend, will be a much-needed opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones. Maybe minus all the hugging we tend to do.

I want to thank you, our members, for your dedication to our profession and our Section. Several of you reached out to us with gratitude for the resources PPS provided to you. July 1, 2020 begins a new fiscal year for PPS. Your Board and staff are committed to the three pillars of our strategic plan: Advocate, Educate, and Connect. Thank you for your membership and I look forward to seeing you at in-person PPS events soon.

Kind regards,
