Dear Valued PPS Member,
On August 16, 2018, PPS and all components (chapters, sections, and academies) managed by APTA were advised that APTA would be discontinuing management services. After an extensive member and board review process in early 2019, PPS enthusiastically selected Association Headquarters (AH) as our new Association Management Company. AH brings a strong team and extensive resources to the organizational management of PPS, and they have already demonstrated their capabilities throughout the transition process.
The transition process began July 1, 2019, with the start of a new fiscal year and will be completed by August 31, 2019. AH has managed a detailed and strategic transition process to ensure a seamless experience for our members. PPS Executive Director Allyson Pahmer will continue with APTA, and PPS is currently engaged in the search for the executive director who will manage PPS under AH. Carrie Stankiewicz, Education Specialist, has been hired by AH and will continue in her role with PPS. Remaining staff positions for our Section are being vetted and filled.
